Image result for LUIS SUAREZ URUGUAY

France vs. Uruguay

As we look for value in this match we first need to understand that Uruguay talisman Edison Cavini will most likely miss out through injury. Tabarez may look to change his shape to allow Suarez to be the focal point of the attack. However, the focus must be on the Uruguayan back line. Godin and Gimenez form the core of an excellent backline for both club and country and have conceded only once this tournament.

As we look to the French side we see a team in somewhat disarray. Deschamps still can not figure out the system that his side should be playing. Players like Griezmann and Pogba have been carried by players like Mbappe and Kante. One would surely fancy Tabarez to get his system right to counteract Deschamps’ decisions.

Uruguay should win this match in regulation but they will surely advance.

THE PLAYS

Uruguay to win in 90 minutes (4.7 at Unibet)

Uruguay to advance (2.96 at 188Bet)

Image result for EDEN HAZARD BELGIUM

Brazil vs. Belgium

This Brazil side are currently listed as the favorites to lift the World Cup yet they have no played an elite team yet. Belgium are that elite team that have been waiting for years for this opportunity.

Brazil are thin at outside back with Marcelo, Alves, and Danilo all missing out through injury. This will play right into the Belgians hands with brilliant wingers in Eden Hazard and Dries Martens, they will both look to cause problems from the flanks and Lukaku will be difficult for the center backs to deal with.

Belgium themselves are a little thin at outside back and Neymar and company obviously are going to be able to get in behind on a few occasions but with Courtios between the pipes and an experienced group at center back Belgium should be fine.

The value plays in this one are on the over and Belgium.

THE PLAYS

Over 2.5 Goals (2.05 at Unibet)

Belgium to win in 90 minutes (3.75 at Betfair)

Correct Score: Belgium 2-1 Brazil (15.00 at Bet365)
