Lorient to defeat Nantes (Ligue 1) – Sunday 12th January 2014 – KO 1:00pm

Christian Gourcuff has lead his Lorient side to an undefeated streak in the last six games, including the three wins in away matches and I see them winning this clash on Sunday afternoon.

Lorient’s potent strikeforce of Vincent Aboubakar and Jeremie Aliadiere have scored 13 times between them this season so far, with the Cameroonian international netting 11 of the goals.  Look for Aboubakar becoming too much for a Nantes side that fell to Nice last weekend in the Coupe de France.

Goals are a problem for Les Canaris, failing to score more than one goal in over a month. I can see Lorient out scoring Nantes so let’s try them for a win with a massive 11/4. BET LOST – Nantes win 1-0

Malaga to defeat Levante (Spanish Primera Division) – Sunday 12th January 2014 – KO 8:00pm

Levante on are on a horrible run losing six of their last seven league games and even though Bernd Schuster has a lot of injuries this weekend for this Malaga side, I can still see them coming away with the three points.

This will be a mid-table clash with Malaga sitting in 12th and Levante one place behind them and both teams will be looking to pump up the long balls and blast shots from far out. Malaga are in better form and were on a five game undefeated run until they were defeated last weekend off high-flying Atlético Madrid in a close affair.

With Ladbrokes offering 19/10 the price is too big to avoid and I can see Malaga making life more uncomfortable for Levante fans. BET LOST – Levante win 1-0
