WORLD CUP: European Qualifying preview and squads – Group C

Europe GroupC

Surely Germany will defeat Kazakhstan on Friday night and stay top but Sweden and Ireland will be trying to grab the win to keep in touch. Giovanni Trappatoni’s Irish side have been heavily depleted with withdrawals. But the Swedes are looking strong with talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic looking to lead his country to glory. Austria face the Faroe Islands in a must-win game for them as they have claimed only 4 points in their three games.
